Known in Maltese as 'Il-Gimgha l-Kbira' or 'The most important Friday of the Year', Good Friday is a day of mourning. Pageants are held during the afternoon in main towns & villages. Streets are transformed into open-air theatres that celebrate the cycle of suffering, death and resurrection.
Join thousands of locals watching live life-size statues depicting the Passion of Christ followed by participants dressed up in costumes re-enacting scenes from the Old Testament.
A unique tour that is done only once a year!
